We are excited to announce that we are offering inclusive one-on-one tours of Aquarium Of The Bay for young students with disabilites! Tours start July 8th!

We are excited to announce that we will be launching inclusive, sensory-friendly, one-on-one aquarium tours at Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco on Fisherman’s Wharf for students of all abilities! During tours, students will be fully supported by a team of credentialed special education teachers!
Tours will be held on July 8th, July 15th, July 22nd, July 29, August 5, and August 12. There will be 3 tours on each day, each with one student. Tour times are 10:00AM, 12:15PM, and 2:30PM. Space is limited. The aquarium will be open to the public at the time of the tours, and we will provide any accommodations needed to support your student in a public space.
Students attending this event must be 15 or younger, as our activities are geared towards this age group. During this event, students will have the opportunity to learn about marine animals and marine science during an adapted tour of the Aquarium of the Bay and will be able to engage in a sensory-friendly animal touch tank opportunity!
Students will have the option to wear sensory mittens provided by CLC to help with sensory preferences or differences!

| How old are student participants for this event? | 15 years and under. |
| How do I register? | Go to our Eventbrite and our Google Form, you must fill out both and buy a ticket. |
| What will my students be doing? | During the tour, students will meet Teacher Taylor at the entrance of the aquarium, it will be parent and student choice if the parent or guardian attends the tour as well. Students will walk through the aquarium, which will be adapted by CLC to meet the needs of the student, with trained professionals to accommodate physical, emotional, cognitive, or any other differences your student might experience. During animal touching opportunities, students will have the option to wear sensory mittens by Lakeshore to help with sensory preferences! We are dedicated to accommodating all students, and will always create accessible learning experiences! |
| What is the cost of the event? | We want to make this event as accessible as possible, including the price. We are a non-profit and all our earnings will be used to create more opportunities for you! Tickets are selling at 150 USD with fees included. |

| Will the aquarium have other guests in it at the time of my tour? | Yes, the aquarium will be open to the public, but we will provide accomodations to help your student with anything they may need in a public space. |

We are excited to announce that we will be doing Inclusive Ocean Camp at Aquarium of the Bay starting on July 8th at PIER 39 (The Embarcadero and Beach Street) in San Francisco, CA 94133! We are finalizing details, but we will be having camp days on Wednesdays this summer! Camp dates are July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29 , August 5, and August 12 from [start time TBD] to [end time TBD]. Each camp day will have a theme, and we will be providing inclusive learning opportunities to students so they can experience the science and animals of the San Francisco Bay! Each camp will have a lesson/activity plan that caters to the abilities and ages of the campers enrolled, we will make sure activities are accessible to all learners!
