What will CLC do with my donations?
We will use your donations to create inclusive marine science learning opportunities in the Bay Area for children of all abilities! We will use your money to do the following:
- Hire special education teachers, therapists, and other professionals to help support your children in a learning environment during CLC events.
- Buy supplies to create our accessible learning tools and activities (our felt boards, sensory boxes, our “assemble a shark” activity, and more).
- Buy supplies to create our mobile aquarium.
- Buy materials and tools to help children with different disabilities feel comfortable and ready to explore and learn (gloves to help with sensory preferences, noise-canceling headphones, fidgets, chewy necklaces, and more).
- Lease spaces out to host CLC events and learning opportunities.
