Taylor Crowley-Parish (President & Founder) has a masters in early childhood special education. She is a true advocate for all children with differences and has a huge passion for marine science. Taylor created CLC to continue her work outside of the classroom in order to reach more kids in the San Fransisco area.

Thomas Covington (Vice President) has a BS degree in marine science and past work experience as an aquarist, a community outreach educator, and summer camp leader. He has previously worked at SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium, Eckerd College, and CuriOdyssey. Thomas belives in getting everyone, regardless of who they are, getting an opportunity to experience the ocean and all its wonder.

Sophia Pelletier (Education & Community Outreach Officer) is a graduate student at UC Davis studying marine ecology. She is incredibly passionate about creating spaces where science can be accessible for everyone and continuing to pursue education. She is excited to be working with CLC and will bring all her experience in marine science and conservation education to CLC’s mission!

Merceline San Luis (Secretary) obtained her BS degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UC Santa Cruz. During her undergrad, she assisted in cetacean respiration research and fisheries management. From being a NAUI Rescue SCUBA diver; to interning with Monterey Bay Whale Watch and Minorities in Shark Sciences; and, more recently, participating as a shark fishing volunteer for UC Davis, Celine has pursued a variety of ocean-related opportunities to learn the different ways people can be involved with marine conservation. She looks forward to supporting inclusive spaces and opportunities for all through the CLC!

Taylor A. Parish (Treasurer) Taylor Arianne Parish has been working with children of all abilities for over a decade. Working in public, private, and montessori settings, she has educated, nurtured, and grew with and by children of all needs. She has experience in reading intervention; teaching physical education, as well substitute taught for all grade levels. From being a roller derby star to executive assistant at a private school, Taylor has worked with students from all walks of life. She looks forward to supporting students in inclusive spaces that CLC creates!
